about me
Our purpose is not about what we are ‘doing’ but who we are being.
MY STORY

Meditating as a child taught me to witness my breath and ask the question: ‘Who am I?’ The mystery and practice of 'not knowing’ was enchanting and inspired a lifelong journey in knowing one’s true self self and helping others to discover their inner light. Alongside a double degree in Law and Arts (Psychology), I studied executive coaching, language, mediation, meditation and ancient mythology, commencing a career as a lawyer and mediator, then leading a team at the Australian Human Commission in discrimination and human rights.
An unexpected crisis with the health of my young children suddenly threw our lives into chaos, and it was meditation, particularly mindfulness that saw me through what were some of the hardest years of my life. The impact of recommitting to a daily practice was so transformative that I ultimately chose to leave my legal career and retrain as a mindfulness teacher. For 12 years, I worked extensively with legal and corporate organisations, schools, universities, athletes, and non-profits, teaching mindfulness skills and fostering self-awareness to cultivate mindful resilience, leadership and connection. Immersed in teaching and practice, I became deeply moved by the profound healing potential of this work. My journey led me to Peru, where I studied with the Medicine Women and Men of the High Andes, completing my energy medicine training with Alberto Villoldo and Marcella Lobos at the Four Winds Society in Chile and continuing my studies with the Inca Medicine School in Cusco.
I am humbled by these experiences and as difficult as the path has felt at times, grateful for the opportunities and insight they have provided. The combination of a deep contemplative practice such as mindfulness, together with the holistic approaches of energy medicine have been cornerstones in my own healing process and I am deeply honoured to share them with you.
